Since 2022, we’ve been stitching, mending, and making — learning together how to live a little greener.
We’ve swapped fabrics, fixed favourite clothes, crafted upcycled wreaths, and joined national campaigns with needle and thread.
Most of all, we’ve built a creative, caring community that shares skills, stories, and plenty of tea and coffee!
I particularly enjoyed the darning session as I feel that it is something I can definitely use. It was new to think that darning could be used not only as a means of mending but also to make patterns on (unholed) clothes. I like all of the sessions for their visible mending approach. I have only ever thought of mending as being as hidden as possible before
I have enjoyed taking part in an enjoyable activity which develops skills and benefits my general health and wellbeing. I have met members of the community which has been a joyful experience
