We’d love for you to be involved fully in the life of our church. You may have a particular gift we don’t know about, like counselling, plumbing or IT, or you may have some time and are willing to help out.

Crèche and Sunday school leaders and helpers: we love our children and young people have a great and dedicated team, but always need more help. You’d be committing to leading or helping a Sunday school group session up to about 3 or 4 times a term. You don’t have to do it forever, but you will need a DBS and to fill in some forms to comply with the Diocese safer recruitment procedure and do some online safeguarding training. We’d love you to join the rota for Bible readings and Intercessions during church, help with setting up and refreshments. You can tell us how often you’re available to help and we won’t put you on the rota too often. Email: Quentin@parishofbrentford.org.uk to join the rota.

If you are musical and can sing or play an instrument we’d love to involve you, as sung worship is so important to our services. We have a ‘jam session’ once a term (on a Saturday) where you can come and play with other musicians or sing, which is a great opportunity to meet the band and gauge where you’re at. We also have a fabulous choir that sing at special events, often on Good Friday and at Christmas.

If you’d like to do even more, and get involved more in the leadership and direction of the church, then there are plenty of opportunities to dive in, whether it’s the PCC, leading Morning Prayer, helping to organise prayer and other evangelistic events, or if you have a BIG IDEA you’d love to get off the ground, just speak to Sarah.
