PRAYER

Prayer lies at the heart of our relationship with God and so it is also
at the heart of all that we do as a church community. We would love to encourage you to get involved in prayer in the life of this church. And we would love to pray with you and for you if you have any particular needs.

PRAYER

Prayer lies at the heart of our relationship with God and so it is also

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer, and that God calls us to come alongside others — to pray with them and for them, whatever the need. We’d love you to get involved in the prayer life of this church.

We have a prayer WhatsApp group, where requests are shared throughout the day and we pause to pray for one another frequently. In each Sunday service we pray together for the world, the church, our community, and our own needs, and prayer ministry is available at our 10.30am and 6.30pm Sunday services. If you’d like to join the team leading intercessory prayer, or to be part of the WhatsApp prayer group, do speak to our vicar, Sarah.

Need prayer?

Prayer ministry is available during our 10.30am and 6.30pm Sunday services. Just speak to someone wearing a Prayer Ministry lanyard; they’ll be glad to pray with you there and then.

You’re also welcome to speak to a member of the clergy if you’d prefer to arrange a time to meet for prayer.

If there’s something you’d like the whole church to pray about, please email your request to prayer@parishofbrentford.org.uk.

Weekly Prayer Meetings

From July to the end of October 2026 we’ll be gathering to pray together weekly. We’ll be meeting online, in-person at St Paul’s (daytime and evenings) and we’re organising prayer walks. Please keep reading for more information and the online prayer meeting link.
