PRAYER + MINISTRY
Prayer lies at the heart of our relationship with God and so it is also at the heart of all that we do as a church community. We would love to encourage you to get involved in prayer in the life of this church. And we would love to pray with you and for you if you have any particular needs.
Need prayer? Our prayer ministry
God has put us together in the family of the Church to help and support each other, and one of the ways we do this is through prayer. We believe passionately in the power of prayer and that God wants us to draw alongside others who have a need, whether that is for physical or emotional healing, for guidance or for anything else. You can share as much or as little as you’d like and one of the team will pray for you.
There is prayer available at the end of each Sunday service, and during Communion. Speak to someone wearing a Prayer Ministry lanyard; they will be happy to pray with you then or arrange a suitable time and place.
If you’d like to make a prayer appointment outside of the services with one of the team or clergy please email sarah@parishofbrentford.org.uk
The prayer ministry team meet once a month for worship, teaching and a time of prayer for each other. Everyone is welcome.
Pray with others for our community
The Gathering: on Thursdays once a month from 12-1pm we gather in the chapel at St Paul’s to pray for the parish and it’s ministry. It’s a structured time of prayer, followed by lunch together. It’s also a great opportunity to find out what’s going on!
Churches Together in Brentford CTB: We meet with other churches in Brentford, on the fourth Sunday of every month, at The Leprosy Mission on Windmill Road, from 7-8pm, to pray for each other and for our community in Brentford. We’d love you to join us.
