Our fourth Menopause Café is on Thursday 4th July 2024. Doors open at 7pm, with a 7.30pm start.

This evening we’re focussing on movement and the importance of exercise and strength conditioning in peri and menopausal women as a way to manage potential health issues during the menopause.

Guest speakers
Sarah Sulemanji – Founder of “Our Moving Stories”

Our Moving Stories is a grassroots organisation made by people for people, exploring the living potential of the moving body and its ability to communicate. Sarah will help us explore the importance of movement across generations and inclusive of all abilities, and encourage us to believe that everyone has a story to share through movement.

Nathan Carter – Founder of “Chiswick Physio”
With the possible increased health risks during menopause (heart disease, osteoporosis…) Nathan will be talking about the importance of strength conditioning and pelvic health physical therapy.

Enjoy a complementary hand and head massage courtesy of therapists Edie Serkovic and Sukh Soora.
Ask your menopause questions to our panel which include our regular Menopause Cafe experts Lorna Stenson and Joanne Fazel.
Bring your own bottle and don’t bother to eat before you come – Spire Café are hosting us with incredible food available to buy.
And finally, make sure you bring your dancing shoes and your moves as we will finish the evening with 45 mins of a silent disco courtesy of The Silent Disco Company Group. It’s fun, flamboyant and a fab way to keep fit.
